Unfortunately our price indications in the app and online widget are not functioning as they should. The map on which those are based is not realtime, which means that, for example, the impact of major road divsersions is not oncluded in the price calaculations. Adjustment fixed prices to Schiphol

Due to the persistent heavy traffic situation in the city centre of Amsterdam due to the cut on the Weesperstraat, we are unfortunately forced to temporarily adjust our fixed prices from the center of Amsterdam to Schiphol. Bteween 7 and 21 Julty we will charge the following prices from the area below (outlined in red):

  • sedan: €55,00
  • minivan: €69,50

Taxis in Amsterdam’s city centre

A taxi is an ideal means of transport to reach Amsterdam’s city centre. When taking a taxi to the city centre, you decide where you want to be dropped off and you can therefore comfortably reach your destination.

Did you know that you can order a TCA taxi to Schiphol in our app or via the widget on this site for €50 from the city centre (€57,50 for a minivan)?

Book a taxi in the city centre

Taxicentrale Amsterdam has some 1,500 certified drivers who will be happy to transport you to your destination for both short and long rides. The City of Amsterdam has designated us as a licensed taxi company (TTO), which means that we are allowed to use the many taxi ranks that Amsterdam has to offer.

You can book your taxi ride via our app, the website or by phone on +31 (0)20 777 7777.

Did you know that we also offer ordering via whatsapp? When you text the word “taxi” to our phone number 0207777777 you will be guided through the ordering process. Whether you need your taxi know or later, this can now be booked without installing an app.

Rates for booking a taxi

Would like to book or order a taxi in Amsterdam’s city centre, but are you not aware of the costs involved? Booking and/or ordering a taxi at Taxicentrale Amsterdam is completely free of charge.

If you would like to know in advance what the ride will cost, you can use the app or the calculator on our website to calculate an approximate rate. Please note that this is only an estimate and may differ from the final rate due to, for example, road works or other traffic problems.
